Oppo has officially confirmed the launch date of its highly anticipated Find X9 series in China.

The new flagship lineup, including the Oppo Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, will debut on October 16, 2025.

These smartphones will be powered by the latest ColorOS 16, which is set to be unveiled a day earlier on October 15 during the 2025 Oppo Developers Conference.

The company revealed that both models will feature the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, paired with Oppo’s proprietary Trinity Engine technology, designed to boost efficiency and deliver a smoother overall experience.

Oppo also confirmed that the Find X9 series will come with massive batteries, making them among the largest in flagship devices. The standard Find X9 will house a 7,025 mAh battery, while the Pro model will feature an even bigger 7,500 mAh cell.

Another standout addition to the lineup is a dedicated physical button, designed specifically to activate AI features, highlighting Oppo’s focus on integrating artificial intelligence more seamlessly into user experiences. Pre-reservations for the Oppo Find X9 Pro are already live on Oppo’s official China online store, signaling strong anticipation among fans.

ColorOS 16, based on Android 16, brings a redesigned interface, smoother navigation, and new AI-driven features aimed at improving usability and personalization. Oppo has confirmed that the updated OS will not only ship with the Find X9 series but will also be rolled out to other devices, including the OnePlus 15, OnePlus Ace 6, and the Oppo Pad 5.

Adding to the excitement, Oppo’s Chief Product Officer, Pete Lau, confirmed that the Find X9 series will not remain exclusive to China. The smartphones will also see a global launch, making them accessible to a wider audience of Oppo enthusiasts.

With cutting-edge hardware, massive batteries, and AI-focused software, the Oppo Find X9 lineup is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated smartphone releases of 2025.
