Pakistan cuts petrol price by Rs5.45 per litre for November 4, 2026

OGRA announces fresh fuel price reductions, bringing petrol down to Rs369.06 and high-speed diesel to Rs391.52 per litre.

Islamabad, November 3, 2026: Pakistan has reduced petrol prices by Rs5.45 per litre and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs3.68 per litre, providing further relief to consumers from November 4, 2026.

According to a notification issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Tuesday, the new petrol price stands at Rs369.06 per litre, while high-speed diesel will now cost Rs391.52 per litre.

The latest reduction follows the government’s commitment to pass on the benefits of declining international petroleum prices to domestic consumers.

Earlier, Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik, accompanied by Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had directed authorities to provide maximum relief to low-income households.

Malik said the government had also prevented a potential increase in petrol prices through cooperation with local oil refineries.

He added that the government had allocated Rs130 billion in subsidies under its public relief programme to support vulnerable segments of society.

The petroleum minister also highlighted concerns over excessive liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices, saying the government was working to introduce greater market competition and protect consumers from overcharging.

Pakistan has approximately 10 million piped gas connections, while households without access to natural gas depend on LPG. Domestic LPG production ranges between 2,000 and 2,500 tonnes.

Malik said the government was also developing a strategy to ensure sufficient gas supplies at affordable rates during the winter season, amid challenges in importing liquefied natural gas (LNG).
