The much-anticipated T20I series between Pakistan and Bangladesh has officially been scheduled, with the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirming a three-match series to be held from July 20 to July 24, 2025.

This bilateral series marks another key chapter in the growing cricket rivalry between Pakistan and Bangladesh in the shortest format of the game.

The Pakistan men’s cricket team is set to arrive in Bangladesh on July 16, ahead of the opening T20I. All three T20I matches will be held at the iconic Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka. The series will begin with the first T20I on July 20, followed by the second and third fixtures on July 22 and July 24, respectively. All matches will start at 6 PM local time (5 PM Pakistan Standard Time).

This T20I series will be a follow-up to the recent encounter between the two sides earlier in May, where Pakistan hosted Bangladesh and delivered a dominant clean sweep. In that series, Pakistan outclassed Bangladesh across all three T20I matches. The green shirts kicked off with a 37-run victory after setting a formidable target of 201. Bangladesh was bowled out for 164 in response.

The second T20I saw another strong performance from Pakistan, who again posted 201 runs. Bangladesh faltered once more, managing only 144 runs, resulting in a 57-run win for the home team.

In the third and final T20I, Bangladesh showed signs of revival, setting Pakistan a challenging 197-run target thanks to a powerful half-century by Parvez Hossain Emon. However, Pakistan chased down the target with ease, losing just three wickets and finishing the game with more than two overs to spare, largely due to a blistering century from wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Haris.

With both Pakistan and Bangladesh looking to fine-tune their squads ahead of upcoming ICC events, this T20I series promises high-stakes cricket. Fans from both countries eagerly await this showdown, which is expected to deliver fireworks as Pakistan aims to maintain its dominance while Bangladesh seeks redemption on home soil.
