Pakistan’s first premium heavy bike assembler reveals three new motorcycles

Classic 400, Crossfire 500 and Cromwell 1200 introduced with powerful engines and advanced braking systems for Pakistan’s growing premium bike market.

Pakistan’s first premium heavy motorcycle assembler, Sothassi, has officially introduced three new high-capacity motorcycles in the local market, marking a significant step forward for Pakistan’s emerging premium bike segment.

The newly launched models include the Classic 400, Crossfire 500, and Cromwell 1200, each designed to cater to different categories of motorcycle enthusiasts seeking performance, style, and advanced engineering.

Sothassi was established with a vision to manufacture world-class motorcycles in Pakistan while incorporating modern global technology and international production standards.

The company aims to strengthen the local premium motorcycle industry by assembling high-performance bikes that can compete with imported alternatives.

The company’s name is inspired by the “Sothassi,” a spider-like arachnid found in the scenic valleys of Chitral, Pakistan. This unique creature serves as the centerpiece of the company’s emblem and symbolizes strength, agility, and innovation.

Although Sothassi has yet to announce official prices and booking details for the three motorcycles, it has revealed comprehensive technical specifications that highlight the performance capabilities of each model.

Classis 400

The Classic 400 is powered by a 397cc single-cylinder, four-stroke engine that delivers 29 bhp. The motorcycle features electric start and air cooling technology. For braking, it comes equipped with a 280mm front disc brake and a 240mm rear disc brake. The bike rides on a 110/90-19 front tire and a 130/80-18 rear tire, offering a blend of comfort and stability.

Crossfire 500

The Crossfire 500 targets riders seeking more power and advanced features. It is equipped with a 486cc twin-cylinder, four-stroke DOHC engine producing 47 bhp. The water-cooled motorcycle features hydraulic disc brakes with ABS at both ends, including a 320mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc. Tubeless tires further enhance safety and handling.

Cromwell 1200

Meanwhile, the flagship Cromwell 1200 is powered by a 1,222cc twin-cylinder engine generating 82 bhp. The water-cooled heavyweight cruiser features dual 310mm front disc brakes with ABS and a 260mm rear disc brake. Its larger tire setup is designed to deliver improved road grip and long-distance touring comfort.

Industry observers believe the launch of these motorcycles reflects growing demand for premium and high-capacity bikes in Pakistan, where enthusiasts are increasingly looking for locally assembled options with international-quality specifications.

The introduction of these models could help expand the country’s premium motorcycle market while reducing reliance on expensive imported units.
