On Wednesday, three vessels, namely Semeru, MSC Positano, and APL Southampton, berthed at Port Qasim’s Oil Terminal and Container Terminal. The port also welcomed five additional ships—MSC Brasilia, Navig8 Gallantry, Saga, Al-Jabriya, and Wisteria—which arrived at the Outer Anchorage of Port Qasim. These vessels are carrying various cargoes, including containers, palm oil, palm kernel, and motor gasoline (Mogas).

In the last 24 hours, a total of seven ships were actively engaged at Port Qasim’s berths. Among these, four vessels—APL Southampton, MSC Positano, Kashi, and LT Beryl—are scheduled to set sail this afternoon. The port’s operational efficiency is reflected in the significant cargo throughput achieved during this period.

The cargo throughput over the past 24 hours totaled 144,394 tonnes. This figure includes 98,624 tonnes of imported cargo and 45,770 tonnes of exported cargo. The handled containerized cargo amounted to 6,147 TEUs (Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units), with 4,624 TEUs of imports and 1,523 TEUs of exports processed at the port.

Currently, six ships are anchored at the outer anchorage of Port Qasim, awaiting berthing.
