Karachi, April 23, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its latest report detailing shipping activity at Port Qasim for Wednesday, April 23, 2025.
This comprehensive update, issued at 0800 hours, provides stakeholders with an overview of vessel movements and cargo handling over the past 24 hours at one of the country’s key maritime hubs.
According to the report, significant shipping activity was recorded as multiple vessels engaged in berthing and sailing operations at Port Qasim, reflecting the port’s growing role in facilitating trade and commerce across Pakistan.
Vessel Departures:
Three vessels completed their operations and sailed from Port Qasim:
• M.T-VALIANTA, carrying 24,058 metric tons of palm oil, departed from the Liquid Cargo Terminal (LCT) under the agency of Al-Pine Marine.
• M.V-ANNITA, loaded with 51,794 metric tons of coal, sailed from the Pakistan International Bulk Terminal (PIBT), managed by GSA (Pvt) Ltd.
• M.T-ZAHRA, with 39,659 metric tons of motor gasoline (MOGAS), left from the FOTCO terminal under Transmarine’s supervision.
Vessel Arrivals:
Port Qasim also reported notable berthing activity as five vessels docked for cargo operations:
• M.V-HYUNDAI HONGKONG and M.V-MARATHOPOLIS, both container ships, berthed at QICT-VII and QT2-II respectively, enhancing shipping activity in container handling.
• M.V-VOLISSOS, with 42,186 metric tons of coal, arrived at PIBT under Ocean World’s agency.
• M.T-FORTUNE YOUNGIN and M.T-NAVE ESTELLA, tankers carrying palm oil and gas oil respectively, berthed at LCT and FOTCO under the management of Al-Pine Marine.
