Karachi, March 27, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released an updated report on shipping operations for Thursday, March 27, 2025, to provide stakeholders with the latest maritime activity.
Port Qasim remains a vital hub for international trade, facilitating smooth shipping movements and cargo handling.
As of 0800 hours, Port Qasim reported significant shipping activities over the past 24 hours, ensuring efficient maritime logistics and uninterrupted supply chains.
Sailing of Vessels: Two ships departed from Port Qasim after successfully completing their cargo operations. The first vessel, M.T-DS ROSA, registered under PQA with a length overall (L.O.A) of 141 meters, carried 17,998 metric tons of palm oil. Managed by AL-PINE MARINE, this vessel set sail at 15:30 from the Liquid Cargo Terminal (LCT). The second vessel, M.V-MSC POSITANO, with an L.O.A of 208 meters, transported containerized cargo under the agency of MSC PAKISTAN. It departed at 16:00 from the QICT-V terminal.
Berthing of Vessels: Two new vessels berthed at Port Qasim to commence cargo handling operations. M.T-KOMODO PARK, a 146-meter-long ship carrying 19,102 metric tons of phosphoric acid, docked at the Engro Vopak Terminal Limited (EVTL) under the agency of EASTWIND SHIPPING at 12:00. Additionally, M.T-DEE4 KASTANIA, measuring 183 meters in length, arrived with a consignment of 14,786 metric tons of palm oil. This vessel, managed by AL-PINE MARINE, berthed at LCT at 18:30.
