Lahore, May 7, 2025 — The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that Season 10 of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) will go ahead as scheduled, despite heightened tensions between Pakistan and India following an attack attributed to India late last night.

The PCB assured fans and players that all necessary security measures are in place, and that the league will proceed without disruption. Today’s much-anticipated clash between Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators will take place at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The toss is set for 7:30 PM, with the first ball scheduled to be bowled at 8:00 PM.

This evening also marks the return of PSL action to Rawalpindi, where four matches are slated across May 7, 8, 9, and 10. Following this Rawalpindi leg, the final group-stage fixture is set to be held in Multan on May 11.

Despite regional tensions, the PCB emphasized that the spirit of PSL remains unshaken, reflecting the country’s passion and resilience for cricket. “The PSL is not just a tournament; it’s a celebration of Pakistan’s sporting spirit. Looking ahead, the Qualifier match will be hosted in Rawalpindi on May 13. The Eliminators 1 and 2 are scheduled for May 14 and 16, respectively, with the grand finale set to light up Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on May 18.
