Sources say Reese Witherspoon’s ex-husband has embraced her relationship with financier Oliver Haarmann

Ryan Phillippe is reportedly supportive of ex-wife Reese Witherspoon’s growing relationship with financier Oliver Haarmann, according to media reports citing unnamed sources.

The reports said Phillippe has fully accepted Witherspoon’s romance with Haarmann, who has reportedly become increasingly involved in the actress’s family life.

Witherspoon and Phillippe, who share two children — Ava and Deacon — are said to have maintained a healthy co-parenting relationship following their separation.

A source cited in reports claimed Phillippe, now 51, has moved beyond the “bad-boy persona” associated with his earlier Hollywood years.

“He’s a mature, humble, solid guy with an amazing sense of humor,” the insider reportedly said, adding that Witherspoon considers him an “awesome dad.”

According to the reports, Phillippe views Haarmann as a positive influence in Witherspoon’s life and is comfortable with the relationship.

Sources also compared the situation to Witherspoon’s previous marriage to talent agent Jim Toth, which reportedly made Phillippe more cautious at the time because their children were younger and Toth was deeply connected within Hollywood circles.

“Oliver is a different story,” the insider reportedly said. “He and Ryan have pretty similar personalities and he’s been a great influence on Reese.”

The reports further claimed Haarmann has encouraged Witherspoon to focus more on interests outside Hollywood and business, helping her distance herself from the pressures of the entertainment industry.

“It’s been wonderful for Reese to finally have a relationship with someone who isn’t caught up in the L.A. rat race, and Ryan understands that,” the source added.

Neither Witherspoon nor Phillippe has publicly commented on the reports.
