On January 24, four ships, namely Maersk Cabo Verde, Clemens Schulte, Charade, and Lusail, carrying Containers, Steel Coil, and LNG, berthed at the Container Terminal, Multi-Purpose Terminal, and Elengy Terminal, respectively. These vessels played a crucial role in facilitating the movement of essential goods and materials.

During the last 24 hours, an additional five ships arrived at the outer-anchorage of Port Qasim, namely MSC ADU-V, Encore, Theodora, Sea Elegant, and Nord Anthem. These vessels are set to load and unload a variety of cargoes, including Container, Rice, Chemicals, and Coal, further contributing to the port’s dynamic shipping landscape.

The diverse range of goods being transported through the port highlights its significance in handling various industries, from chemicals to coal and containers. The Port Qasim’s strategic location and efficient operations continue to play a pivotal role in facilitating trade and contributing to the economic development of the region.

As the shipping industry remains a key driver of economic growth, the Port Qasim’s consistent activity underscores its role as a critical gateway for imports and exports, connecting Pakistan with the global market.
