Karachi, January 15, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released detailed updates on shipping operations scheduled for Wednesday, January 15, 2025, to streamline processes and ensure seamless operations for all stakeholders. As one of Pakistan’s busiest maritime hubs, Port Qasim plays a pivotal role in facilitating imports and exports crucial for the country’s economy.

Shipping Operations Overview

Port Qasim is handling a range of vessels carrying essential commodities such as steel coils, LPG, gas oil, containers, rice, and palm oil. The port remains a critical node for trade, supporting both domestic industries and international commerce.

Departing Vessels:

1. M.V-Centurion Buyo: The ship, registered under PQA with Reg No. 35324, is carrying 30,126 metric tons of steel coils. The vessel has a Length Over All (L.O.A) of 183 meters and is expected to depart at 15:00 from M/W-I berth.

2. M.T-Kaisa I: Registered as 35330, this LPG-carrying vessel has a draft of 5.70 meters and is slated to depart at 15:00 from the EVTL berth.

3. M.V-Xpress Kohima: The container ship is expected to leave QICT-V berth at 19:30.

Berthing Updates

The following vessels are scheduled to berth at Port Qasim:

1. M.V-MSC Positano: With an L.O.A of 208 meters, the ship is expected to berth at QT2-I at 01:30.

2. M.V-Xpress Kohima: The vessel, carrying containers, will berth at QICT-V at 11:45.

3. M.T-Hafnia Executive: This gas oil carrier, transporting 49,429 metric tons, will dock at FOTCO at 12:00.

4. M.V-CMA CGM Don Pascuale: A container ship with a significant L.O.A of 334 meters, will berth at QT2-II at 12:00.

5. M.V-Prince Zain: Transporting 24,000 metric tons of rice, this ship will dock at M/W-I at 18:00.

6. M.T-Maya Gas 1: Carrying 18,838 metric tons of palm oil, this vessel will berth at EVTL at 18:00.
