KARACHI: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Friday announced transfers and postings of Pakistan Customs Service (PCS) officers in BS-17-19 with immediate effect until further orders.
The FBR notified transfers and postings of following officers:

The FBR said that the officers who are drawing performance allowance prior to issuance of this notification shall continue to draw this allowance on the new place of posting.

KARACHI: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has notified transfers and postings of chief collectors of customs with immediate effect and until further orders.

FBR transfers 80 Customs officers of BS-17-18 in major reshuffle
ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Thursday notified transfers and posting of 80 Pakistan Customs Service (PCS) officers of BS-17-18 in major reshuffle.
The FBR said that the transfers and postings have been made with immediate effect and until further orders.

FBR reinstates 10 customs officials into service on FST order
ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has re-instated 10 customs officials into service in compliance to order passed by Federal Service Tribunal (FST), Lahore.
The FBR issued notifications on Thursday to re-instate the officials in pursuance of judgment passed by FST, Lahore on July 11, 2019.
Following are the notifications:
01.No. 2072-C-III/2019:- In pursuance of judgment dated 11.07.2019 passed by Federal Service Tribunal, Lahore in Appeal No.508(L)CS/2017, Zahid Raza Bukhari, Ex-Superintendent, Directorate of Intelligence & Investigation-Customs, Faisalabadwho was removed from service on 08.05.2017 and subsequently converted into compulsory retirement vide FBR’s Notification No.2513-C-III/2017 dated 11.09.2017, is hereby re-instated into service with effect from 08.05.2017 i.e. the date of his removal from service. The intervening period from 08.05.2017 to 21.03.2018 during which he remained out of service is treated as period spent on duty.2. He retired from service on 21.03.2018 (A.N.) on attaining the age of superannuation.
02.No. 2070-C-III/2019:-In pursuance of judgment dated 11.07.2019 passed by Federal Service Tribunal, Lahore in Appeal No.510(L)CS/2017, Mansoor Alam, Ex-Inspector, Model Customs Collectorate, Faisalabad who was compulsorily retired from service vide FBR’s Notification No.1414-C-III/2017 dated 08.05.2017, is hereby re-instated into service with effect from 08.05.2017 i.e. the date of his Compulsory Retirement. The matter of back benefits for the intervening period from 08.05.2017 todate during which he remained out of service, shall depend upon final outcome of denovo proceedings to be initiated against him in due course of time in the light of FST judgment.

FBR reinstates nine customs officers into service on court order
ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Tuesday reinstated nine customs officials into service following an order of Supreme Court of Pakistan.
The FBR said that in pursuance of judgment dated November 26, 2018 passed by Federal Service Tribunal, Islamabad duly upheld by the Supreme Court of Pakistan through order dated April 17, 2019, the following officers, who were compulsorily retired from service through FBR notification dated May 08, 2017 are hereby reinstated into service with effect from May 08, 2017 i.e. the date of their compulsory retirement:
01. Qaiser Khan Loni, ex-principal appraiser, Model Customs Collectorate Quetta.
02. Muhammad Zaman Mazari, ex-Inspector, MCC Quetta
03. Haji Zahir Ali, ex-Inspector, MCC Quetta
04. Shireen Subhan, ex-Inspector, MCC Peshawar
05. Muhammad Akram, ex-Inspector, MCC Quetta
06. Faiz Muhammad Khoso, ex-Inspector, MCC Quetta
07. Musa Kha Awan, ex-Inspector, MCC Quetta
The FBR said that matter of back benefits for the intervening period from May 08, 2017 till their re-instatement, during which they remained out of service, would depend upon final outcome of denovo proceedings to be initiated against them in due course of time in the light of federal service tribunal judgment and the apex court order.
The FBR said that in pursuance of judgment dated February 01, 2018 passed by Federal Service Tribunal, Lahore duly upheld by the Supreme Court of Pakistan dated April 04, 2019, the FBR’s notifications dated May 08, 2017 and Dated August 22, 2017 are hereby withdrawn and following officers of customs service are reinstated into service with effect from May 08, 2017 i.e. date of their removal from service:
01. Waqar Ahmed Cheema, ex-Superintendent, Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation, FBR, Lahore
02. Aziz-ur-Rehman, ex-Inspector, MCC Islamabad
