    Supernet wins ZTBL projects worth Rs450 million

    KARACHI: Supernet Limited has been awarded multiple contracts worth over Rs450 million by Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) after competitive bidding process.

    The contracts will help ZTBL strengthen the communication and IT infrastructure of their nationwide branch network, mostly in the rural areas of Pakistan.

    Supernet is actively upgrading communication infrastructure of the bank with multi-medium communication networks enabling availability of high level uptimes for branches to communicate with their head office.

    This will be a managed service model where Supernet will do installation and configuration of its Wide Area Network with ZTBL’s already existing devices for end-to-end seamless communication. The nationwide presence of Supernet’s engineering resources will ensure smooth and fast deployment of this system.

    Furthermore, Supernet will also upgrade current Local Area Network (LAN) at all of the bank’s 450+ branches across Pakistan, ensuring installation of high quality passive infrastructure of power and data communication. Bank’s appetite, demand and design of next generation LAN will ensure a long term and durable infrastructure availability in remote areas, which is quite a challenge.

    ISLAMABAD: Supernet Limited on Wednesday announced that they, in conjunction with their Australian technology partner Avara Technologies Pty Ltd have been awarded a new project within a long-term program that they were awarded in 2021 by a major Pakistani customer.

    The new project valued at approximately Rs250 million constitutes Phase 3 of the program for the supply of multiservice multiplexers and associated operations, maintenance, warranty and support services.

    The program includes establishment of a repair facility in Pakistan and transfer of knowledge through an expansive training program enabling in country engineers and technicians to rectify faults throughout the equipment’s lifecycle.

    Avara’s DynaFlex product family is a flexible, fully featured, access multiplexer with powerful cross-connect and protection capabilities.

    Supernet awarded telecom projects worth Rs100 million

    ISLAMABAD: Supernet Limited, one of Pakistan’s leading telecommunications service providers and systems integrators, has secured telecommunication projects worth Rs100 million

    A statement issued on Monday said that the company had been awarded three equipment supply projects consisting of equipment and services in the domains of satellite communications, telecommunications, and power with a combined equivalent value of Rs. 100 million.

    The projects have been awarded by a strategic organization thereby expanding the customer base of its Telecommunications and Defense Business Unit, said a news release issued here on Monday.

    The equipment and associated support and warranty services shall support the customer’s large communications network in the country. Supernet has already successfully delivered one project in totality.

    The second project is on track to be completed by the end of November 2021 with the third one expected to reach completion in the 1st quarter of 2022. Head of BU, Telecoms and Defense at Supernet Ali Akhtar, said, “We are thrilled to have been awarded these projects with each one being awarded through a competitive bidding process resulting in our solutions being picked as the best techno-commercial ones.”

    “We have successfully been able to on board a new client, widening our customer base, and we’ve done it by winning significant business right off the bat.
