From its debut in 2016, the sixth generation Camaro has established itself as a lean and powerful sports car. To commemorate its retirement at the end of the 2024 model year, Chevrolet is introducing the Camaro Collector’s Edition. This special edition will be available in the LT/RS, LT1, SS, and ZL1 trims exclusively in North America.
The 2024 Camaro Collector’s Edition draws inspiration from the original code name for the first-generation Camaro, known as “Panther.” Chevrolet’s Performance Design Studio sought to honor this heritage by incorporating Panther-related elements into the sixth generation’s design. The SS trim features Panther Black Metallic, while the ZL1 trim showcases Panther Matte Black as its exterior color.

The LT/RS, LT1, and SS trims of the Collector’s Edition come with Panther Black Metallic Tintcoat paint, Satin Black accent stripes, and the front splitter from the 1LE package. Additionally, coupes in these trims receive the rear spoiler from the ZL1 package.
The ZL1 Collector’s Edition, limited to 350 units, boasts the Panther Black Matte exterior color, making it the first Camaro to offer a factory matte paint finish. This special ZL1 edition also includes the front splitter from the ZL1 1LE and the rear wing from the ZL1 1LE for coupes.
Other exclusive features include the Black Metallic ZL1 stripe, red brake calipers, black lug nuts, and a serialized steering wheel badge denoting the vehicle’s production sequence.
All Camaro Collector’s Editions, regardless of trim, feature unique front fender script badging incorporating a panther motif into the “R,” as well as a panther on the steering wheel badge. The interior is treated with special floor mats displaying a laser-etched aluminum Collector’s Edition logo and distinctive black accents.

Buyers of the Camaro Collector’s Edition will receive a welcome kit comprising two posters commemorating the Camaro generations and the Collector’s Edition. Furthermore, owners of the ZL1 Collector’s Edition will receive a Shinola Canfield Sport 45mm watch specially crafted to match the aesthetic of the Camaro Collector’s Edition. This exclusive timepiece features engraved panther motifs on the watch band and the Camaro logo on the watch face. Each watch is serialized to match the number on the vehicle’s steering wheel badge.
In addition to the Collector’s Edition, Chevrolet has announced updates for the 2024 Camaro lineup. The LT, LT1, SS, and ZL1 trims will be available as coupes or convertibles, with the option to add the 1LE performance package to the SS and ZL1 trims.
Powering the 2024 Camaro will be a range of engines, including the 3.6L V-6, 6.2L LT1 V-8, and the supercharged 6.2L LT4 V-8. Two new exterior color options, Riptide Blue and Nitro Metallic Yellow, will be available across all trims.
With the launch of the 2024 Camaro Collector’s Edition and the latest updates, Chevrolet pays tribute to the enduring legacy of the Camaro, a symbol of performance and style.
