    Honda exhibits e:N2 Concept model

    Honda exhibited new e:N2 Concept, the concept model for the second set of its e:N Series models.

    The exterior design of the e:N2 Concept features sharp and dynamic body lines and surface finishing which highlights the metallic look, aiming to present new styling that does not belong to any existing categories. The interior was designed with an aim to realize the value of this EV as a space where occupants can enjoy intellectual exhilaration.

    To this end, a clean and uncluttered digital cockpit was adopted, and smart hospitality for the occupants will be offered with the latest Honda CONNECT features as well as the effective presentation of lighting and scents.

    As for driving performance, built on the e:N Architecture F, a dedicated architecture developed exclusively for the e:N Series, the e:N2 Concept was designed to achieve unique driving pleasure, enabling the driver to enjoy a strong “sense of unity with the vehicle.” This was realized based on the dynamics technologies of Honda, including outstanding vehicle stability and crisp handling.

    Ford launches 2023 Transit Trail commercial van

    Ford Motor Company launched the 2023 Ford Transit Trail commercial van, loaded with unique features and abilities.

    The current MSRP for Transit Trail van starts at $65,975. The van is launched with three variants including the medium and high roof models and high extended length variant.

    The van carries 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine that produces 310 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque3, mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.

    The van has intelligent All-Wheel Drive, with five selectable drive modes, including Normal, Eco, Mud/Ruts, Tow/Haul and Slippery.

    The ride height of the van is increased to 3.5-inch, a 2.75-inch wider track, 30.5-inch Goodyear Wrangler Workhorse all-terrain tires, and 16-inch black alloy wheels.

    The front of the van has black grille with integrated marker lamps and black HID headlamps, unique skid plate-style front bumper, splash guards, wheel arch cladding, front wheel arch liners, and slider-style driver- and passenger-side steps.

    The can also have some tech features that enable confidence while on and off the trail with Intelligent Access with push-button start, Blind Spot Assist 1.0, Reverse and Side Sensing systems, Adaptive Cruise Control.

    Nissan Z GT4 unveiled at 2022 SEMA show

    Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and Nissan Motorsports unveiled the Nissan Z GT4, which is based on the Nissan Z. The unveiling event took place at the 2022 SEMA show in Las Vegas, Nevada.

    The Nissan Z GT4 is scheduled to be supplied from 2024, with orders being accepted from mid-2023.

    The car was first revealed at the end of September in traditional NISMO livery, the specially-constructed Nissan Z GT4 for SEMA, features a unique livery that ties in past vintage racing heritage with modern design.

    The front hood of the car displays the number 23, which is Nissan’s exclusive number, found within a rising sun circle harking back to the very early racing liveries of the 70’s.

    Additionally, the new Z logos on the rear quarter panel highlight the modern interpretation of the original 240Z and Fairlady Z badging, all while covered over the iconic Nissan and NISMO red and black color scheme.

    For the Nissan Z GT4’s inaugural 2023 season, Nissan/NISMO will provide cars to pilot customer teams in the US and Japan for the SRO Pirelli GT4 America series and Super Taikyu Series, respectively.

     While developing the Nissan Z GT4, NMC’s NISMO racing division not only conducted extensive testing in Japan and the United States but also took part in select Japanese races.

    The aim was to meet the needs of professional drivers as well as to ensure that amateur enthusiasts could enjoy the dynamic and exciting performance of the Z.

    KARACHI: Atlas Honda Limited has increased the prices of the motorcycles in the wake of high inflation in the country and restrictions to import raw materials.

    Considering the current economic situation of the country, the government had restored to stringent measures including minimizing the import of Completely Knocked Down (CKD) kits and raw materials, the company’s supply chain had also been disrupted by such measures.

    Following are the increased prices of Honda motorcycles which will be implemented from November 01, 2022:

    The price of Honda CD 70 has been increased by Rs5,000 to Rs121,500, from Rs116,500,

    The price of Honda CD 70 Dream has been increased by Rs5,400 to Rs129,900 from Rs124,500.

    The price of Honda Pridor has been increased by Rs6,000 to Rs161,900 from Rs155,900.

    The price of Honda CG 125 has been increased by Rs6,000 to Rs185,900 from Rs179,900.

    The price of Honda CG 125 SE has been increased by Rs8,600 to Rs219,500 from Rs210,900.

    The price of Honda CB 125F has been increased by Rs10,000 to Rs283,900 from 273,900.

    The price of Honda CB 150F has been increased by Rs15,000 to Rs353,900 from Rs338,900.

    The price of CB 150F SE has been increased by Rs15,000 to Rs357,900 from Rs342,900.

    Sazgar Engineering Works Limited launched the Haval H6 SUV in Pakistan, which is the hybrid electric vehicle. The company introduced the SUV in two variants, 1.5T and 2.0T.

    The company launched the Haval H6, with the ex-factory price of Rs9,749,000. The booking price of the car is Rs1,900,000.

    The SUV adopts miller cycle, electronic water pump, 12:1 high compression ratio, and other advanced technologies. The thermal efficiency is up to 38 per cent.

    The car has the maximum engine power up to 113KW, maximum torque is 233NM and the motor maximum power is 130KW and maximum torque is 300NM.

    The whole engine has four leading characteristics of high efficiency, low fuel consumption, high performance and light weight.

    The application of light weighting technology reduces the car weight, which results in the improvement of fuel economy by 14.5 per cent.

    The car has some interesting features with advanced intelligence like the full extensibility, strongest security protection, highest energy efficiency ratio and extraordinary global quality.

    The car has been tested on more than 6 million kilometers road test, gathering 18 kinds of global typical environmental application analysis.

    The test had been conducted to ensure the global recognized product quality with global high validation standards.

    Some of the external equipment include electric tail gate with delayed closing and memory function. The 19-inch alloy wheels with tyre size of 225/55. Front and rear boneless automatic wipers. The car also has the panoramic sunroof and shark fin antenna.

    The internal features include the multi functions steering wheel with paddle shifters. The front interior of the car and the luggage cabin have only 12V power outlet.

    The security features of the car include the keyless entry system of the car. The car is started by the button type push-to-start system. The car contains car locating function, anti-theft alarming system, automatic crash unlock system and speed sensing central door lock.

    Chevrolet launched the SUV Trax with new features and technological advancement seeking the practicality of a compact car.

    The SUV provides more space for passengers and cargo. The car is launched with the suggested retailing price of $21,495.

    The press release issued by the company stated about the body of the car. At the front, sleek horizontal lines emphasize the vehicle’s width and are designed around the lines of the iconic Chevy bowtie at the center of the grille, which flow outward to the slim, Blazer-inspired headlamps that feature all-new LED lighting elements. Chevy-signature high-eye LED daytime running lamps make the Trax more visible, day or night.

    A sleeker side profile is enhanced by a 4-inch-lower (101 mm) overall height than the current model, while strong “shoulders” in the body contribute to a taut, muscular presence and strong stance.

    Trax’s interior was designed to have a lightweight feel, achieved with sweeping lines and light, technical cues that emphasize the vehicle’s width and create a sense of airiness — all enabled by the vehicle’s longer, lower and wider platform.

    The low instrument panel enhances outward visibility and contributes to the feeling of airiness, while a technical texture pattern sweeps across, adding depth. Other elements take inspirations from other recent Chevy performance vehicle designs, including signature round vents and more.

    Display screens are the centerpiece of the tech-forward design, with the infotainment screen canted slightly toward the driver, for more intuitive control.

    The new Trax’s larger dimensions pay dividends when it comes to the driving experience and interior spaciousness, with its nearly 6-inch-longer wheelbase and wider track offering more composed ride and handling characteristics, compared to the current model.

    Inside, the 11-inch greater length and 2-inch greater width than the current model translates into greater roominess and cargo capacity, including 3 inches more rear legroom, which increases comfort for rear-seat passengers, and maximum cargo capacity that increases by nearly 12 per cent.

    Toyota Gazoo Racing today introduced the updated GR Supra GT4 race car for the 2023 season, which carry better upgrades enhancing the braking, handling and engine performance.

    The ready-to-race GR Supra GT4 EVO will be priced at 186,000 euros or $185,151.82.

    The car has been upgraded on the basis of customer and driver feedbacks, which have helped the super car to get even better.

    The press release issued by the Toyota Motors stated that, user feedback and requests have flowed directly into the development of the GR Supra GT4 EVO, which follows TOYOTA’s commitment to continuous improvement and building ever-better motorsports-bred cars for customers.

    In response to constructive customer feedback and the results of detailed evaluations, Toyota Gazoo Racing development engineers focused their efforts on three key areas: brakes, handling and engine.

    The improved brake system design, new ABS settings, latest KW damper technology and updated anti-roll bar specification, the GR Supra GT4 EVO will deliver improved handling and higher cornering speeds.

    The drivers will be able to push for faster lap times due to increased power and an optimised torque curve of the 3.0-litre, six-cylinder, turbocharged engine, which benefits from more effective cooling.

    The GR Supra GT4 EVO is easier to drive for ambitious amateur drivers whilst it also provides the precise performance demanded by professional racers.

    The GR Supra GT4 EVO will make its competitive debut in January 2023 at the 24 Hours of Daytona, the first round of the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season.

    Orders for the GR Supra GT4 EVO will be taken from October 28 2022 and an upgrade kit will be available to existing GR Supra GT4 customers.
