N e-shift allows the driver to have better control over power delivery and mimics the sensation of shifting gears in a traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) car. By manipulating the motor torque output, it recreates the feeling of a gearshift, providing a more precise and interactive driving experience similar to ICE vehicles.

N Active Sound+ complements N e-shift by enhancing the sensory experience for the driver in electric vehicles (EVs). It incorporates a 10-speaker system, consisting of eight internal speakers and two external speakers, and offers three different sound themes.

The ‘Ignition’ theme replicates the sound of N’s 2.0T engines, while ‘Evolution’ delivers a high-performance sound inspired by the RN22e. The ‘Supersonic’ theme takes inspiration from twin-engine fighter jets and adjusts its volume during cornering. The primary goal of N Active Sound+ is to provide drivers with auditory cues that reflect the power being utilized, enhancing the overall driving experience.
