Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL), the leading premium car manufacturer in India, unveiled the Honda ELEVATE, the latest global SUV from Honda, at a World Premiere event in India. This new SUV will be launched during the festive season this year, making India the first country to manufacture and sell the All New Elevate worldwide.
While initially targeting the domestic market, India also aims to become an important export hub for the new model, catering to the strong global demand for SUVs.
The Honda ELEVATE is developed with the concept of ‘Urban Freestyler’ to attract customers with active lifestyles and a global mindset. It combines cutting-edge aesthetics with functionality to create a visually stunning, versatile, comfortable, and adventure-ready SUV, suitable for both city and off-road exploration.
With its bold and masculine exterior design, the mid-size Elevate features a striking front face, sharp character lines, and a unique rear design that give it a strong road presence. The front fascia showcases Honda’s signature grille, complemented by sleek LED headlights. The sporty character of the SUV is emphasized by its side profile, while the rear boasts a distinctive tailgate design and LED taillights.

Engine:
The core of the Elevate features an exceptional 1.5L i-VTEC DOHC petrol engine with VTC, providing impressive fuel efficiency, minimal emissions, and an invigorating driving performance. This advanced engine generates a power output of 89 kW (121PS) and a maximum torque of 145 Nm within the RPM range of 4300 to 6600. It is paired with a sophisticated 6-speed Manual Transmission and a 7-speed CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), guaranteeing seamless gear shifts and a responsive driving experience while promoting excellent fuel economy. The powertrain optimizations ensure a delightful and environmentally friendly driving journey.

The exterior design of the Elevate exudes a commanding presence, showcasing a bold profile and sleek, sharp headlights that exude a sense of masculinity and confidence. The High Gravity Horizontal Belt Line adds to the overall feeling of security and protection within the cabin. The clean and uncluttered layout of the sides emphasizes its modernity and distinguishes it as a SUV of the new generation. Completing the dynamic look are the dual LED taillights and the striking two-tone finish diamond-cut R17 Alloy Wheels, which contribute to the model’s distinct, sporty, and contemporary character.
Exterior Dimensions:
The exterior dimensions of the SUV are as follows: it measures 4312mm in length, 1790mm in width, and 1650mm in height. With a ground clearance of 220mm, the vehicle offers ample space for traversing various terrains. It boasts a wheelbase of 2650mm, contributing to stability and a comfortable ride.

The interior design of the SUV embodies a “Progressive and Protective” concept, combining an ambitious mindset, comfort, functionality, and enhanced safety. Additionally, the Elevate is equipped with a 10.25-inch high-definition LCD touch-screen display audio system, offering excellent visibility and connectivity to smartphones via wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Weblink, Bluetooth, and USB. With its 220mm ground clearance, distinct nose and hood shape, and seamless hood-to-B-line connection, the SUV provides a heightened driving experience, allowing for clear visibility of the road surface and objects ahead.
Comfort and Convenience:
The SUV is designed to cater to the active lifestyles of both the driver and passengers, offering enhanced comfort and convenience features. These include an electric sunroof that can be operated with a single touch and includes a pinch guard for added safety. There is a rear shelf for additional storage, as well as cup holders in the console area for easy access.
The vehicle also includes a 1-liter bottle holder in the front and rear door pockets, and the second-row seat can be split and folded in a 60/40 configuration. Other convenient features include a wireless phone charger, walk away auto locking, a 12V power outlet for both front and rear passengers, a rear air conditioner vent with automatic control, cup holders in the rear center armrest, a storage box under the front center armrest, and a wallet storage space in the center console. Additionally, the SUV is equipped with Honda Connect, a system that offers safety, convenience, and peace of mind.

The vehicle also boasts Honda’s renowned Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ (ACE™) body structure, which not only provides self-protection but also minimizes damage to other vehicles in the event of a collision.
The Elevate takes safety further with the introduction of Honda SENSING, an innovative Advanced Driver Assistance System that utilizes a high-performance front camera to scan the road ahead.
