Lucas Hernández Completes Move to PSG from Bayern Munich

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has bolstered its squad by acquiring the services of French defender Lucas Hernández from Bayern Munich.

The transfer, which marks PSG’s fifth signing in the current summer transfer window, sees Hernández sign a lucrative five-year contract with the club.

Hernández, who has been out of action due to a lengthy injury, expressed his enthusiasm upon joining PSG after a period of eager anticipation.

The talented player sustained a knee injury while representing France against Australia in the World Cup last year, and his move to PSG signifies his comeback to competitive football.

While the financial details of the agreement have not been officially disclosed, reports indicate that the deal is estimated to be worth around 40 million euros ($44 million).

During his tenure at Bayern Munich, Hernández enjoyed immense success, securing the Bundesliga title in all four seasons and lifting the prestigious Champions League trophy in 2020. Although he was an unused substitute in the final, Bayern emerged victorious with a 1-0 win over PSG.
