Powerful Performance, Versatile Options:

The Mitsubishi Triton is equipped with a newly developed 4N16 clean diesel engine, which is available in three different output specifications to cater to various needs. The high-output version features a new turbocharger and combustion system, delivering a flat maximum output of 150 kW and a maximum torque of 470 Nm from around 1,500 rpm. This results in a highly responsive driving experience with ample torque available in practical usage range.

As for the standard specification, there are two versions: one with an engine that offers a maximum output of 135 kW and a maximum torque of 430 Nm, and another with an engine providing a maximum output of 110 kW and a maximum torque of 330 Nm. Both of these versions are equipped with a variable geometry turbocharger that allows for variable control of the turbine capacity.

The all-new Triton is offered with a choice of transmissions. One option is a six-speed automatic transmission, which includes the highly acclaimed Sports mode carried over from the previous model. The other option is a six-speed manual transmission with shift-by-wire technology, designed to reduce engine-induced vibrations and enhance overall comfort during driving.

Enhanced Road Performance of All-New Triton:

The all-new Triton boasts enhanced road performance thanks to its newly developed suspension and advanced 4WD system. The 4WD system offers easy shifting between modes through a dial selector. The Super Select 4WD-II system, equipped with a center torque sensing Limited Slip Differential (LSD), intelligently distributes driving force, ensuring optimal traction and cornering performance with a 40 per cent front and 60 per cent rear ratio.

Models with Super Select 4WD-II have four options: 2H (rear-wheel drive), 4H (full-time four-wheel drive), 4HLc (locked center differential), and 4LLc (locked center differential with lower gears). They also offer seven drive modes, including on-road modes and off-road modes like Eco, Gravel, Snow, Mud, Sand, and Rock, catering to various road conditions. Vehicles with Easy Select 4WD have 2H, 4H, and 4L options for low-gear driving.

The Super Select 4WD-II models now feature Active Yaw Control (AYC), enhancing cornering performance by lightly braking the inside front wheel during turns. Both 2WD and 4WD models have active LSD for improved safety and sporty driving experiences by distributing driving torque to wheels with better traction.

For added stability, all models come with Active Stability & Traction Control (ASTC), Hill Descent Control (HDC), and Hill Start Assist (HSA). The newly developed suspension retains a double wishbone structure for the front and a rear system with improved ride comfort and durability.

Driving convenience has also been considered with a minimized turning radius and improved visibility with the hood shape. The high-output engine model is equipped with electric power steering, offering better control, reduced kickback, and optimized performance for different driving conditions, be it on-road, off-road, or during towing.

At the front, the design features the Dynamic Shield concept, expressing both powerful performance and a sense of protection. The pickup’s strong appearance is achieved through a robust, three-dimensional front grille and fenders, accentuated by a protective element that complements the overall form.

The daytime running lights, resembling three L-shaped LED lights, give the truck a fierce and focused look, perfectly complemented by the three-dimensional 3-light headlights below, making the all-new Triton truly stand out.

The sides of the vehicle are characterized by horizontal themes, with large, solid surfaces drawing attention to the sturdy doors. This design contrasts with the sharply overhanging fender panels, creating a sense of width that enhances stability and toughness.

Efficiency and practicality were not overlooked in the design process. The cargo bed is spacious while maintaining a cohesive appearance with the rest of the body. The T-shaped tail lights on both sides accentuate the width of the truck’s rear and contribute to its robust rear design.

Notably, soft pads are strategically incorporated in key areas to ensure passenger protection and utility, catering to professional use.

The interior’s design embraces a blend of geometric shapes and metallic elements, resulting in a high-contrast and contemporary space. Visibility has been a top priority, as evident in the well-considered placement of the monitor, meters, and switches with contrast in mind. Moreover, the selectors, dials, and switches boast an optimum level of sensitivity, allowing for effortless operation even while wearing gloves.
