Karachi, April 19, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released the latest update on shipping operations for Saturday, April 19, 2025, to ensure smooth coordination and planning for all relevant stakeholders involved in port activities.
This routine update, issued at 0800 hours, covers shipping movements and berthing schedules over the past 24 hours, reflecting the dynamic pace of maritime operations at one of Pakistan’s busiest commercial hubs.
According to official information from Port Qasim, three vessels completed their sailing procedures within the past day. These include the container vessel M.V. CMA CGM Don Pascuale, which departed at 11:00 hours from berth QT2-II; bulk carrier M.V. IVS North Berwick, which sailed at 11:30 hours from PIBT; and the oil tanker M.T. Al Soor II, which left FOTCO terminal at 15:30 hours. The successful departures of these vessels mark the completion of their shipping operations, ensuring the continued flow of cargo through the port.
On the berthing side, three vessels arrived and were successfully docked at various terminals. The container vessel M.V. Xpress Kohima berthed at QT2-I at 03:30 hours, followed by M.V. Magpie SW, which berthed at Marine Wharf-I at 09:30 hours. Later in the evening, the tanker M.T. Maritime Guardian was berthed at FOTCO terminal at 19:00 hours. These arrivals are part of regular port operations, enabling the smooth loading and unloading of cargo essential for domestic and international trade.
