Karachi – February 2, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released an update on shipping operations for Sunday, February 2, 2025, aimed at facilitating port stakeholders. The authority issued details at 0800 hours, summarizing vessel movements over the last 24 hours.
Port Qasim remains a crucial hub for maritime trade in Pakistan, handling a wide range of cargo, including containers, fuel, and agricultural commodities. Several vessels arrived and departed at Port Qasim, ensuring seamless logistics operations.
Sailing of Vessels
According to the latest report, several vessels set sail from Port Qasim on Sunday. Among them, the container ship M.V-ONE THESEUS departed at 10:00 AM under the agency of Ocean Network Express, while M.V-MSC MUNDRA VIII followed at 12:00 PM, managed by MSC Pakistan.
Additionally, the bulk carrier M.V-BW MATSUYAMA departed carrying 63,605 metric tons of canola seed, while M.T-MP MR TANKER 1 transported 37,779 metric tons of Mogas. Other notable departures included M.T-EVA PEARL, which carried 15,749 metric tons of Paraxylene.
Berthing of Vessels
New vessel arrivals at Port Qasim were also recorded. Among them, M.V-LADY LILLY berthed at 01:00 AM with 22,000 metric tons of rice, while M.T-FUWAIRIT arrived at 12:00 PM, unloading 135,170 metric tons of LNG. The container ship M.V-XPRESS SALWEEN berthed at 12:15 PM, continuing efficient port operations.
Additionally, M.T-LEADER and M.T-LILA CONFIDENCE docked later in the day, carrying Mogas and Acetic Acid, respectively. Another rice shipment arrived with M.V-HOANG ANH, further supporting Pakistan’s trade sector.
