Each team will have three more matches, facing the three qualifying teams from the opposite group. The top two teams at the conclusion of the group stage will progress to the final, securing qualification for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 in India.

However, the West Indies face a perilous situation in their quest for qualification after a defeat in a Super Over against the Netherlands. To have a chance at qualifying, they must win all three remaining matches, including one with a significant margin to boost their net run rate, and hope for favorable outcomes from other matches.

Oman, despite a strong start to the tournament, faces a daunting task as they need to win all their matches against Zimbabwe, Netherlands, and West Indies to secure qualification from their current position.

Despite being ranked low, the Netherlands has demonstrated potential with a Super Over victory against the West Indies. With two points and three games left to play, their batting lineup shows promise.
