    KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced bank holiday on October 30, 2020 on the occasion of Eid Milad-Un-Nabi.

    A circular issued on Tuesday addressing the president / chief executives of all banks / Development Financial Institutions and Microfinance Banks that the SBP would remain closed on October 30, 2020 (Friday), the 12th Rabi-ul-Awal 1442 AH on the occasion of Eid Milad-Un-Nabi.

    KARACHI: State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Tuesday announced that the central bank will remain closed on August 29 and 30 on occasion of Ashura, Muharram ul Haram, 1442 AH.

    The SBP, in a statement, said that the central bank will remain closed on August 29-30, 2020 (Saturday and Sunday) on the occasion of Ashura, Muharram-ul-Haram, 1442 AH.

    KARACHI: State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Monday said that the central bank will remain closed from July 31, 2020 to August 02, 2020 (Friday to Sunday) on occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.

    The commercial banks shall also observe the same holidays announced by the SBP on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.

    KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) will remain closed for public dealing on Wednesday, July 1, 2020, which will be observed as ‘Bank Holiday’ enabling the bank to close its accounts, the central bank said in a statement on Monday.

    All employees of the Bank will attend to their official assignments (in-office or work-from-home, as designated under the current COVID-19 situation) on Bank Holiday treating it as a normal working day (except for public dealing), it added.

    KARACHI: Banks shall remain closed during May 22 – 27, 2020 (Friday to Wednesday) on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr.

    In an official note on Wednesday issued by State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said that the central bank will remain closed from 22nd to 27th May, 2020 (Friday to Wednesday) on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

    KARACHI: Banks to remain closed for public dealing on Monday due to deduction of Zakat.

    The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) in a statement said that it will remain closed for public dealing on Monday, April 27, 2020, which shall be observed as “Bank Holiday” for the purpose of deduction of Zakat.

    All banks / DFIs / MFBs shall, therefore, remain closed for public dealing on Monday, April 27, 2020.
