    13 Customs officers promoted to BS-20

    ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Friday notified promotions of 13 officers of Pakistan Customs Service (PCS) from BS-19 to BS-20 on regular basis with immediate effect.

    Following Customs officers have been promoted to BS-20:

    The FBR said that the officers, who are presently posted against BS-20 posts on OPS, will actualize their promotions against their respective BS-20 positions. Postings of the remaining officers will be notified separately.

    The officers mentioned at Sr.No.2 and 12 will actualize their promotions on return from deputation in the light of Para 5(5) of the Civil Servants Promotion (BPS-18 to BPS-21) Rules, 2019 issued vide SRO 1493(1)/2019 dated 03.12.2019.

    The officers at Sr.No.11 & 13 will actualize their promotions against Board’s Notification No.0426-C-I/2021 dated 26.02.2021.

    The officers, if drawing performance allowance prior to issuance of this notification, shall continue to draw the allowance on their promotion.

    ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Friday notified promotions of 24 officers of Inland Revenue Service (IRS) from BS-19 to BS-20 on regular basis with immediate effect.

    The FBR said that the officers already posted/working against BS-20 posts on OPS basis will actualize their promotions against their present places of posting. For actualization of promotion of officers at Sr. No. 4,7,9,12,21,22 and 23, the posts are personally upgraded vide Board’s Notification No. 0425-IR-I/2021 dated 26.02.2021 to enable them to assume charge of BS-20 posts on promotion.

    The officers at Sr. # 11 will actualize his promotion from the date he will return from deputation and join FBR within the specified time, in terms of Rule 5(5) of Civil Servants Promotion (BPS-18 to BPS-21) Rules, 2019.

    The officers if drawing special allowance prior to this notification shall continue to draw this allowance on their promotion.

    ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Saturday notified major reshuffle of senior Inland Revenue officers and transferred/posted 43 officers of BS-19 to BS-21 with immediate effect and until further orders.

    FBR directs BS-19, BS-20 officers to submit performance reports

    ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has directed officers of BS-19 and BS-20 to complete their performance evaluation reports (PERs) for the consideration of promotion to next grade in the upcoming central selection board (CSB).

    The FBR in a circular issued on Monday said that the Establishment Division had informed that a meeting of CSB for consideration of promotion of officers from BS-20 to BS-21 and BS-19 to BS-20 post, was scheduled to be held shortly.

    It has been observed that PERs of the officers of IRS/PCS as per list given, who are in promotion zone, have not yet been received despite reminders.

    “All officers as per above list are requested to get complete their PERs urgently without further delay,” the FBR said.

    The FBR issued list of 13 IRS officers of BS-20 and 34 IRS officers of BS-19 who failed to submit their PERs.

    Further, the FBR said that 13 PCS officers of BS-20 and 22 PCS officers of BS-19 had failed to provide their PERs.

    It is pertinent to mention that the incomplete PERs of government officials may put them under forced retirement as envisaged in Government Servants (Directory Retirement from Service) Rules, 2020.

    ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Thursday notified promotion of 49 officers of Inland Revenue Service (IRS) to BS-19 with immediate effect.

    The FBR notified promotion of 41 officers from BS-18 to BS-19 on regular basis and other eight officers have been promoted from BS-18 to BS-19 on acting charge basis.

    The FBR said that the officers at Sr. Nos. 07, 14, 24 and 32 will actualize their promotion from the date of their return from deputation and joining FBR (Hq), Islamabad.

    The officer at Sr. No. 08 is promoted subject to completion of satisfactory PERs, without any adverse entry/remarks, for the period 01.07.2018 to 30.06.2019. The officer at Sr. No. 19 is promoted subject to completion of satisfactory PERs, without any adverse entry/remarks, for the period 01.07.2018 to 31.03.2019.

    The officer at Sr. No. 25 is promoted subject to completion of satisfactory PERs, without any adverse entry/remarks, for the period 28.03.2019 to 30.06.2019 and will actualize his promotion from the date of his return from deputation and joining FBR (Hq), Islamabad.

    The officers already working in BS-19 on acting charge basis or on OPS basis as Additional Commissioner / Additional Director / Secretary FBR (HQ), Islamabad shall actualize promotion at their present place of posting.     ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Tuesday announced that it will promote officers of Inland Revenue Service (IRS) and Pakistan Customs Service (PCS) from BS-18 to BS-19.

    In an office memorandum, the FBR said that the meeting of Departmental Selection Board (DSB) for promotion from BS-18 to BS-19 is being convened shortly.

    Therefore, the FBR directed all BS-18 officers of IRS/PCS and ex-cadre, who are in promotion zone to get their performance evaluation report (PERs) completed up to June 30, 2019 by March 25, 2020.

    The FBR also directed concerned reporting/countersigning officers to forward the PERs pending with them to the board immediately.

    78. Abdul Waheed Awan (Inland Revenue Service/BS-17) has been transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner Inland Revenue Large Taxpayers Unit-II, Karachi from the post of Assistant Commissioner, Regional Tax Office III, Karachi.

    The FBR said that the officers who are drawing performance allowance prior to issuance of this notification shall continue to draw this allowance on the new place of posting.
