23 New Cars Expected to Launch in Pakistan in 2026 Across 14 Brands

Pakistan’s automotive industry is gearing up for one of its busiest years in recent history, with 23 new vehicle launches expected between June and December 2026.

According to market projections, the upcoming lineup will feature 14 different brands, including a mix of electric vehicles (EVs), plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), range-extended electric vehicles (REEVs), and conventional petrol-powered models.

The launch pipeline reflects the rapid shift toward electrification, with 9 fully electric vehicles, 11 plug-in hybrids, and 3 petrol/ICE models expected to enter the market.

SUVs and crossovers continue to dominate, but automakers are also expanding into sedans, hatchbacks, and lifestyle pickup segments.

Changan Expands Its SUV and EV Portfolio

Changan is expected to kick off the launch calendar in June with the UNI-S, a petrol-powered crossover SUV.

Later in October, the company is likely to introduce the Lumin, a compact fully electric city car aimed at urban buyers seeking affordable EV mobility.

Omoda Brings the C7 Hybrid SUV

Omoda is preparing to launch the C7 in June. The upcoming SUV is expected to arrive as a plug-in hybrid, offering consumers a combination of electric driving capability and extended range for long-distance travel.

Jaecoo Targets Premium SUV Buyers

Jaecoo is expected to strengthen its presence in July with the launch of the J8. Positioned in the premium SUV category, the model is anticipated to feature plug-in hybrid technology and advanced safety features.

GWM Introduces Lifestyle Pickup Segment

Great Wall Motors (GWM) is set to launch the Cannon Alpha pickup truck in June. The vehicle is expected to cater to customers looking for a blend of utility, off-road capability, and premium features.

MG Adds New Electric Sedans

MG is planning two electric launches in June, including the IM5 and IM6. Both vehicles are expected to target buyers interested in premium electric mobility and modern technology-focused driving experiences.

Jetour Continues With Petrol SUVs

Jetour is expected to introduce two petrol-powered SUVs, the T1 and T2, during June. These models are likely to appeal to consumers seeking conventional internal-combustion options in the SUV segment.

NEO Expands With EVs and Hybrids

NEO has one of the most diverse launch plans for 2026. The company is expected to introduce the Q05 and G318 REEV models alongside the fully electric A06 in July. In December, NEO is also expected to launch the Q07 plug-in hybrid SUV.

ORA and AVATR Focus on Electric Mobility

ORA is expected to launch the O5 electric hatchback in August, while AVATR plans to introduce the 11 electric SUV during the same month. AVATR is also expected to follow up with the 07 electric crossover in December.

Deepal Strengthens Its Electrified Lineup

Deepal is preparing multiple launches, including the Hunter K50 REEV pickup truck in August and the S09 REEV SUV in September.

These vehicles are expected to offer extended driving ranges while maintaining electric-focused performance.

Chery Brings the QQ3 EV

Chery is expected to launch the compact QQ3 electric vehicle in September, targeting consumers looking for an affordable entry into the EV segment.

BYD and Denza Lead Premium Hybrid Push

December could be one of the busiest months of the year. BYD is expected to introduce the highly anticipated Sealion 6 plug-in hybrid SUV.

Meanwhile, premium brand Denza is preparing to launch the B5 and B8 plug-in hybrid SUVs, expanding its footprint in Pakistan’s growing premium vehicle market.

Aion Enters the EV Segment

Aion is also expected to launch the ES electric sedan in December, adding another fully electric option for consumers seeking modern and efficient transportation.
