However, isolated areas such as southwestern Balochistan, Kashmir, and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa might experience rain-windstorms and thunderstorms by evening or night.
In the last 24 hours, the weather across Pakistan was largely dry, with hot conditions in the south. Nonetheless, isolated rainfall and thunderstorms were recorded in regions including Kashmir, northeast Punjab, and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Notable rainfall measurements include 23 mm in Rawalakot, Kashmir, and lesser amounts in other areas like Kotli and Kakul.
Yesterday’s temperature readings reached high points across various cities with Shaheed Benazirabad hitting a scorching 42 degrees Celsius, closely followed by Chhor, Dadu, and Jacobabad at 41 degrees Celsius. These conditions underscore the typical pre-monsoon climate variability experienced in the region.
