Islamabad, November 7, 2023 – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a weather forecast predicting thundershowers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday, November 8, 2023.

This announcement is part of the daily weather report from the PMD, which also highlights weather conditions in various regions of Pakistan.

According to the PMD’s daily report, the upper regions of the country can anticipate cloudy skies, with the likelihood of thundershowers and strong winds in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and north Balochistan. In addition to these areas, rain is expected in the Potohar region, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan during the evening and night hours. Furthermore, there is a possibility of fog and smog in a few plain areas of Punjab during the morning hours.

For Tuesday, November 7, 2023, the PMD predicts similar weather conditions, with cloudy skies in most upper regions of the country and the likelihood of thundershowers, strong winds, and rain in north Balochistan and lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Over the past 24 hours, dry weather was predominant across most parts of the country, with colder conditions experienced in the northern regions. The recorded rainfall measurements (in millimeters) are as follows: Barkhan 31, Zhob 06, Kalat 04, Dalbandin, Khuzdar 03, Quetta (Sheikh Manda, Samungli 01), and Dera Ghazi Khan 01. These rainfalls have provided much-needed relief to the region.

As for the recorded lowest minimum temperatures for today, Leh recorded -04°C, Skardu -03°C, and other regions including Hunza, Babusar, and Kalam recorded temperatures of 00°C.
