TIME has recognized Xiaomi as one of its “TIME100 Most Influential Companies” for 2024. This marks the first time Xiaomi has received this prestigious honor, highlighting the company’s extraordinary global impact.
In its announcement, TIME cited Xiaomi’s successful launch of its first smart electric vehicle, the Xiaomi SU7 Series, in Mainland China in March 2024. The EV’s innovative integration of people, cars, and homes into a cohesive, super-smart ecosystem was particularly praised.
Xiaomi set new industry records for locked-in orders and deliveries of the SU7 Series within its first month. The “Human x Car x Home” ecosystem connects smart devices in seamless, unprecedented ways, demonstrating Xiaomi’s commitment to cutting-edge technology.
Xiaomi is also dedicated to sustainable investments in core technologies, pledging over RMB100 billion in research and development from 2022 to 2026. The company aims to become one of the top five global automakers and a leader in global cutting-edge technologies within the next 15 to 20 years.
