Commenting on the decision, PCB Chairman, Ramiz Raja, emphasized the importance of finding the right balance between player participation in domestic and international leagues while ensuring their readiness for national commitments. He stated, “Our priority is to ensure that our players get the necessary exposure and experience by playing in top leagues like the Big Bash. It’s a fantastic platform to showcase my skills and learn from the best in the business. I appreciate the PCB’s support in allowing me to participate in such a prestigious tournament,” he said.

The NOCs granted to these players not only underscore the PCB’s progressive approach but also signify a collaborative effort between the board and players in charting a path for their professional growth. This move is anticipated to be a win-win for both the cricketers and Pakistan cricket, with the players gaining valuable experience and the national team benefiting from their enhanced skills and exposure.

As the BBL season kicks off, cricket enthusiasts eagerly await the performances of these Pakistani cricketers, hoping they make significant contributions to their respective teams and leave an indelible mark on the league.
