BAIC increased the price of its model BJ40 Pus 2.0T which will be effective from February 01, 2023. The company issued a circular informing about the price hike.
The ex-factory price of BAIC BJ40 Plus is Rs9,995,000 from the previous price of Rs9,295,000. The price of the SUV is increased by 0.7 million.
The company also stated that customers which make full payments on bookings till January 31, 2023 will have the ex-factory price locked at Rs9,295,000.
The SUV is manufactured globally by BAIC Motors. It is a Chinese state-owned holding company of several automobile manufacturers. BAIC Motors entered Pakistani market in collaboration with Sazgar Motors and introduced the SUV BJ40 Plus.

BAIC BJ40 Plus is powered by a 2.0 liters turbocharged petrol engine, with engine capacity of 2,000cc. The engine produces 218 horse power at 5500 rpm and has a torque of 320 Nm at 4500 rpm .The car supports options of five-speed manual transmission and six-speed automatic transmission with four driving modes: ECO, comfort, sport, and snowfield.
The car is safe and reliable because it is equipped with a standard configuration of ultra-high anti-roll frame in the front and rear. It constitutes a natural barrier to protect passengers and ensures safety.
