Samsung’s highly anticipated Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Ring have successfully passed through the FCC certification process, revealing significant details about their battery capacities and other key features.

The Galaxy Z Flip6, a continuation of Samsung’s popular foldable phone series, will sport a dual-cell battery setup with a combined capacity of 3,790 mAh. This capacity may be marketed as 3,800, 3,850, or even 3,900 mAh, indicating a modest but noticeable improvement over the Flip5’s 3,700 mAh.

Additionally, the device’s battery has been certified to support 25W maximum charging through the UL Demko certification.

Performance benchmarks from Geekbench indicate that the Flip6 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, coupled with 8GB of RAM. Photography enthusiasts will be pleased to know that the Camera FV 5 database lists the handset with a 50 MP main camera featuring an f/1.8 aperture.

On the wearable front, the Galaxy Ring is set to make a splash with its diverse sizing options and corresponding battery capacities.

The ring will be available in sizes ranging from 5 to 12, with battery capacities varying accordingly: sizes 5, 6, and 7 will feature a 17 mAh battery, sizes 8, 9, 10, and 11 will have an 18.5 mAh battery, and size 12 will come with a 22.5 mAh battery.

The Galaxy Ring will support Bluetooth LE and Bluetooth 5.4, ensuring efficient connectivity with other devices.

Both the Galaxy Z Flip6 and Galaxy Ring are scheduled for a July launch, coinciding with the release of other Samsung devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold6, Galaxy Watch7 family, and the Galaxy Watch Ultra.
