FBR notifies promotion of three IRS officers to BS-22

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has officially announced the promotion of three officers from the Inland Revenue Service (IRS) to the highest rank of BS-22.

The promotion, effective immediately, was notified on Saturday, following the approval of the Prime Minister.

The Establishment Division, through U.O. No. 7/1/2021-CP-VI dated May 20, 2022, officially communicated the promotion of the following BS-21 officers of the Inland Revenue Service to BS-22:

1. Amir Ali Khan Talpur

2. Dr. Faiz Illahi Memon

3. Asim Ahmad

The officer listed at Sr. No. 2, Dr. Faiz Illahi Memon, will realize his promotion at his current place of posting, as per the directives outlined in the Establishment Division’s Notification No. 5/4/2020-E-1 dated May 21, 2022.

The promotion to the distinguished rank of BS-22 is a testament to the officers’ exemplary service and expertise in the field of inland revenue.
