Register via DIRBS Official Website:

PTA introduced the Device Identification, Registration, and Blocking System (DIRBS) in 2018 to monitor and prevent the use of illegal mobile phones in Pakistan. To register your device through the DIRBS official website, follow these steps:

Visit the official website: https://dirbs.pta.gov.pk/

Log in if you already have an account or sign up if you don’t.

Fill in the required information to create an account on DIRBS.

Select the user type as “Local” or “Foreigner.”

Provide your email address, Passport/CNIC number, mobile number, and home address.

Once you’ve completed the above steps, you’ll receive an email with a verification link. Click on the link to confirm your registration.

Log in to your account and click on “Create COC” in the declaration window on the left.

Enter your device’s IMEI and contact information.

You’ll receive a message from PTA informing you whether your device needs to be registered.

You can track the status of your application through the “My Application” option.

Register via PTA Mobile App:

PTA also offers an official mobile application for Android devices. Follow these steps to register your mobile phone using the PTA app:

Download the PTA app from the Play Store using this link. Install the app on your device and open it.

Follow the instructions provided to enter your IMEI number.

If your IMEI number is invalid, the PTA app provides further guidance on the next steps.

Register via Franchise or Customer Service Center:

PTA has introduced a new method for mobile phone registration, allowing you to visit any Customer Service Center or Franchise of major mobile carriers such as Jazz, Telenor, Ufone, etc. If your mobile’s IMEI is non-compliant or blocked, you can visit these centers, and they will assist you in registering your device with PTA.

By following any of these methods, you can ensure that your mobile phone is properly registered with PTA and comply with the regulations. Registering your device is crucial to avoid any legal issues and ensure a smooth mobile experience in Pakistan.
